Important Business Updates

1095-B tax forms reminder: updated information needed by end of December

Unless your customer opted out, we’ll be filing 1095-B forms on behalf of Aetna Funding AdvantageSM groups with 2 – 50 employees* by the federal submission deadline. It’s the responsibility of you and your customers to make sure that we have accurate information. If we don’t, and the IRS rejects the forms, the plan sponsor will need to refile on their own.

If a customer has had a key change, such as group name or tax ID, please be sure to contact your Aetna® representative to update the group's information. We pull data as of December 31st, so if anything changes after that date it will not be included on the 2023 tax forms.

*Work with your group to determine the number of eligible employees according to IRS guidelines on the 1095-B form filing. .

New Aetna Broker Experience Survey helps us improve your experience

We greatly value your feedback. That’s why we recently launched our post-implementation monthly Aetna Broker Experience Survey. At the end of a month, if you had any new business cases you’ll receive an email, which will come from Aetna@express.medallia.com, asking for your input. The information provided will help us to improve your experience and provide you with top-notch service.

We’d appreciate it if you could take a few minutes and complete the brief survey when you receive it. Thank you in advance for your partnership.
