1095-B tax forms reminder: updated information needed by end of December
Unless your customer opted out, we’ll be filing 1095-B forms on behalf of Aetna Funding AdvantageSM groups with 2 – 50 employees* by the federal submission deadline. It’s the responsibility of you and your customers to make sure that we have accurate information. If we don’t, and the IRS rejects the forms, the plan sponsor will need to refile on their own. If a customer has had a key change, such as group name or tax ID, please be sure to contact your Aetna® representative to update the group's information. We pull data as of December 31st, so if anything changes after that date it will not be included on the 2023 tax forms. |

Advance notice on upcoming annual disclosure

This will help ensure they get all the information they need on our plans and administration throughout the year. The disclosures will be sent out by early Q1 2024. |
